If you google "Jewish Cycling," the first hit you get is "Hazon" and the second is "Oy Velo." Oy Velo has put aside its resentment of this fact and is working with Hazon to organize an Oy Velo bike team for the August bike ride in New York and the November ride in Israel.
Essentially, Hazon is a Jewish Cycling organization that is actually organized. Hazon has been arranging cycling rides in Israel and New York for years.
The bad news:
You can't just go, you have to raise money; a shit load in fact.
The good news:
The money goes to charity, so it's a great tax deductible bike trip.
Additionally, Oy Velo will knock $100 off the cost of a frame and fork if you go on either ride.
As if that's not enough, you can see nipples on the ride (it's under the hair).
